Welcome To Salty Tailz Fishing Charters

Captain Hayden Lancaster
Captain Hayden, now 20 years old, has spent the last three years as a captain honing his skills as a passionate and family oriented fisherman. Growing up in upstate South Carolina, he was introduced to the world of fishing at an early age, learning the ropes from his grandfather and great-grandparents as soon as his hands were big enough to hold a reel. His love for bass fishing grew as he got older, but when he moved to Murrells Inlet 7 years ago, he discovered saltwater fishing and was instantly hooked.
While working at the local bait shop, Hayden made connections with seasoned captains and quickly began learning the ins and outs of the trade. He started as a mate for Captain Nick, whom he had fished with on his first trip to the area, and hasn’t looked back since. After three years of learning from the experienced captains of the MIFC fleet, Hayden became eligible for his captain's license and has been making a name for himself ever since! Hayden's favorite fish to target are flounder, king mackerel, bull redfish, sheepshead, and speckled trout, but his true passion is sharing the thrill of fishing with others. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, Captain Hayden’s expertise and enthusiasm make every trip one to remember.
